Enjoy this project I made with the latest Craft-A-Flower release.
Before cutting any of the floral elements I always add Double sided adhesive sheets to the reverse of my cardstock. To create the flower I used the New Purple and Summer Afternoon gradient cardstock sets, for the leaves I used Green Meadows Gradient cardstock. I like how easy it is to peel and stick the layers together when cut, and the ease of putting the gradient cardstock through the Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine which is perfectly sized. I cut two flowers, one bud and four leaves. Having the smaller bud really helps to create a pleasing floral composition.
My background was created using the Circle Quilt Cover Die; I added a piece of the double sided adhesive to the reverse of some 300gsm cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine. I then trimmed it to measure 3.75″ by 5″ and mounted it to an A2 note card. I used foam tape to add the Sweet Violet to the card and placed a Simple Greetings die cut sentiment.
