April 2021 Inspiration Challenge: A Bird’s Nest in Springtime

Hello, everyone! It's Aga here, and I’m happy to host the April 2021 Inspiration Challenge! This month, I’ve selected a picture that was taken last year, and it shows my Easter decoration I created with flowers in a pot and painted eggs.

Here's what I came up with using this photo as my inspiration:

I started my card by creating a background using Garden Harmony 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I wanted to mimic the floral nest from the picture, so I used Branches and Berries Die Set to die cut about 30 little twigs and branches out of white cardstock. Then, I colored the die-cuts with green markers from Cosmic Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set A and purple markers from Mediterranean Terrace Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set B. I arranged them in the center of my card.

To finish everything off, I stamped a sentiment from Circled Sentiments Stamp Set with Ocean Waves Crisp Dye Ink, die cut it using a die from Halftone Circles Nesting Die Set, and stuck it with foam tape.
