Season 2 of Altenew's Crafting Showdown has arrived and we're so excited! Our 3 amazing teams are competing for the title of Season 2's Crafting Showdown Champion!
If you haven't seen the episodes yet, you're in for a fun and chaotic ride! Our esteemed panel of judges are comprised of Product Designer Sabrina, AECP Participant Karen, AECP Educator Mary, and Altenew CEO Nabil Rab.
Let's meet our teams! The contestants going head to head this season are:

Crafting Showdown Episode 1 – Surprise Supplies
The first round sees our contestants choosing someone to first create a handmade card while their other team mate stands back. But that's not all, because they're also required to use randomly chosen supplies from Altenew. Hence the title of the challenge – surprise supplies!
May from Team Lay, Tasnim from Team OG, and Jaycee from Team Dynamic Duo were the ones who played in this exciting round, while their teammates coached from the sidelines.
It was tough, but after careful deliberation of the judges, the winning card was from Team OG!

Crafting Showdown Episode 2 – Mystery Card Prompt
For the next challenge, the other team members who didn't craft last episode are up! Lydia from Team Lay, Jen from Team OG, and Bridget from Team Dynamic Duo are going head to head on this new challenge – the Mystery Card Prompt!
Our host Nur kindly provided the prompt, which was to create a card for a 50-year old businessman who loves to travel and dislikes florals. How interesting! PLUS each contestant was allowed to choose one Altenew product that was currently in stock to use for their entry.
Our contestants tried their hardest, and the judges scores revealed that this round's winner is Team Dynamic Duo!

Crafting Showdown Episode 3 – Crafting One-Handed Challenge
The last episode of the Crafting Showdown saw the most intense competition of the season! This time around, both contestants in each team are allowed to participate, but there's another catch! Each contestant must only craft with one hand. Their teamwork and communication was definitely essential for this challenge!
This challenge's prompt was to create a card for a 35-year-old mom who like lots of color and patterns. So many possibilities!
It was clearly a challenge for the contestants, but they did amazing! When the round ended, the judges revealed the scores that decided the winners for this round, which was Team Lay!
It was awesome that every team got a chance to win, but only one can take the title of Altenew's Season 2 Crafting Showdown Champions (yes, it came down to the decimals) and it was Team OG! Here are the final results:
