Folktales and Stories Project Inspiration
Today, I'll be sharing a project that features background stamps and uses the background filler pieces as a beautiful focal point.
Stretch the Use of Background Stamps
I started by stamping the filler pieces from the Geometric Botany Stamp Set onto a piece of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. I used Frosty Pink, Cotton Candy, Coral Berry, and Chamomile Inks for the flowers and then used the same images using Minty Mint, Sweet Leaf, and Just Green Inks to make leaves. I fussy cut around the whole flower image for the pink images but fussy cut around each of the petals of the green images to create leaves.
To create the focal point, I cut the largest of the dies from Halftone Circles Nesting Die Set from white cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from Endless Florescence Stamp Set into the center of this. Then I adhered the fussy cut images around the edge of the die-cut.
For the background, I used the large image from the Geometric Botany Stamp Set using Sunray Ink.
