Craft Your Life Project Kit: Dynamic Blossoms Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Dynamic Blossoms Project Kit Inspiration

I have actually made 6 cards with this project kit but for now, let's take a closer look at one card and see how I created it!
I began by stamping the outline image with Obsidian Black Ink, I stamped onto white cardstock as I find the colors layer well and it's perfect for ink blending too. I then used the Sweet Dreams Oval Ink Set to add the layers to the flower and then the Tropical Forest Oval Ink Set to color the leaves. Using the die from the project kit, I die cut the stamped images.

I then used the other dies from the kit to cut some white cards, which I added Metallic Watercolor to. While these were drying, I started to create my background.

I used some Aqualicious ink and one of my small ink blending tools to add ink through one of the stencils. I used the remaining ink on the brush to color the edges of the panel. I then added some inky splatters for added detail.

Now it was time for my favorite part of any project, compiling all elements!

First, I added some foam tape to the reverse of the large floral element and laid it on the stenciled panel, I then started to tuck the metallic elements behind until I was happy with the composition. Then, I trimmed any overhanging pieces and added the panel to an A2 notecard.

Lastly, I cut the sentiment from a piece of card that I had colored with metallic watercolors and added it to my card using the 2 in 1 Precision Glue Pen.
