Stencilled Background Birthday Card With Dynamic Duo: Crescent Flowers

Today, I’d like to share a birthday card with a stenciled background, created using a simple stencil from Dynamic Duo: Crescent Flowers.

Making the Floral Stenciled Background
To create my background, I used one of the whimsical, watercolor-style florals from the Crescent Flowers Stencil Set, along with some Altenew Fresh Dye Inks: Misty Morning and Cloudy Sky from the Tranquility Fresh Dye Ink Set, Sunray from the Golden Sunset Fresh Dye Ink Set, and Mossy Meadow from the Jade Dreams Fresh Dye Ink Set.

I repeated the stenciling until the entire card base was covered with a beautiful floral design. To finish it off, I added some yellow splatters created with yellow gouache paint from the Artists' Gouache Set – Strolling Through New York.

Finally, I added two simple sentiments from the Essential Sentiments set, combined with Hot Foil Roll – Brushed Gold (Mirror). I always keep a bunch of these on hand, as they pair beautifully with almost any design.
