A New Non-Traditional Fall Memory Keeping Idea
Hello crafty friends! It's Nathalie here with a new non-traditional Fall memory keeping idea. Fall is the season of cozy feels, vibrant colors, rustic charm, and of course leaves and pumpkins. I wanted to bring some of those Fall themes but give them a new non-traditional look for this project. So, I pulled the new Zero Waste: Autumn Leaves die, Pretty Pumpkins Layering die set to create this layout
Here is how this new non-traditional Fall Memory Keeping layout came together:
- Use Double Sided Adhesive paper to cover the back of a 6 1/4 x 4 1/2″ white cardstock, then use Zero-Waste: Autumn Leaves die to create all the die cuts and negative piece.
- Back the negative die cut with a piece of gold translucent vellum. Adhere to the layout so that the die cut creates a pocket at the bottom of the page.
- I trimmed 1/4″ strips from Crafty Necessities in Blush, Volcano Lake, and Buttercream. I adhere them atop of the pocket, and also in the pocket insert ( made from kraft cardstock), and trim the excess.
- Using Moonstone Glitter tape, and Sunlit Gold Glitter tape cover a piece of cardstock. Next, I used the Pretty Pumpkins layering die to cut the pieces from the covered cardstock, as well as Brushed Gold Metallic cardstock, and Crafty Necessities: Evergreen cardstock. Assemble the pumpkin die cut.
- Adhere some of the leave die cuts to the top right corner of the pocket insert -atop the colored strips), next adhere the pumpkin die cut atop the leaves. Using Tranquil Greetings stamp a sentiment below the pumpkin. Adhere a small heart from the Rose Petal Enamel Dots to the right of the sentiment.
- Run a piece of Moonstone Glitter tape at the bottom of the insert. Adhere the picture atop the tape strip.
- Using One-Go: Sentiments, create a sentiment strip and adhere to the bottom of the photo. Next adhere enamel hearts to match the paper strips above the sentiment ( Sweet Dreams Enamel Dots, Rose Petal Enamel Dots, Summer Afternoon Enamel Dots)
- To create the title for this spread, trim the smallest label from the Apothecary Label dies. and set it atop the paper strips.
- Next, create the sentiment using Obsidian Pigment ink and Bold Sentiments stamp set, fussy cut the sentiment.
- Adhere one of the leaf die cuts to the left of the label, then adhere the sentiment strip .
I hope this new idea for a non-traditional Fall memory keeping layout inspires a crafty project of your own!
