Create Magic and Masculine Vibes in One Card!

Hello there everyone! Happy release day! Lydia here, and I’m super excited to share a brand-new project using the adorable Creative Cuts: In The Woods set. This release is such a fun one—it’s perfect for masculine cards and lovely enough for something sweet and feminine. Let’s dive in!

Getting Crafty in the Woods

To start things off, I die cut all the elements from the Creative Cuts In The Woods set using Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Once I had everything cut out, it was time for some ink blending fun to bring all the pieces to life.

• Tree Trunk: I used a warm combo of Sand Dunes, Rocky Shore, Mocha, and Espresso inks to give it a realistic woodgrain look.

• Flowers: I added soft pops of color with Dusty Pink and Blush Rose inks, and used Alpine Aster for that sweet blue blossom. Flower centers were created with Warm Sunshine and Chamomile Inks.

• Leaves & Stems: For a rich, earthy green palette, I blended Sugar Kelp, Olove, Swamp Green, Matcha Tea, Forest Glades, and Frayed Leaf.

• Rocks: To finish off the natural vibe, I shaded them with Morning Frost, Evening Gray, Lava Rock, and Moon Rock inks.

Setting the Scene

For the background, I wanted something subtle yet textured. I reached for the Essential Textures Stone Wall Press Plate and inked it with Morning Frost onto Morning Frost Cardstock. It creates such a lovely backdrop and really lets all those earthy, die-cut elements shine.

Final Touches

The sentiment is from the Build-A-Garden: Tranquil Trail set—just the right words to bring everything together. And of course, no project is complete without a little sparkle! I added a few Crystal Clear Gem Sparkles to give it that perfect finishing touch.
