Simple and Beautiful Just Because Card with Craft-A-Flower: Crocus Layering Die Set
Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here today, and I’d like to share with you a simple “Just Because” card created with Craft-A-Flower: Crocus Layering Die Set.
Altenew Craft-A-Flower die sets are released monthly and celebrate the beauty of a wide variety of flowers! Each set includes all the pieces you need to create a multi-layered floral arrangement, inspired by our popular 3D flower dies. All you need to add is colored cardstock and a die-cut machine.
This month’s set captures the sleek beauty of the crocuses. It includes 13 dies, featuring a tall flower, an open bloom, and a bud, making it easier than ever to create stunning floral arrangements.
How to create CAS Just Because Card with Craft-A-Flower: Crocus Layering Die Set
I started by die-cutting all my elements out of white cardstock. Next, I used Misty Morning, Wisteria, Hydrangea, Snapdragon, Mossy Meadow, and Green Opal Fresh Dye Inks, along with the Mini Blending Brush Set (Flat Bristles), to apply the chosen colors.
I find die-cutting and layering Altenew flowers so easy and relaxing that I always make a bunch of those layered designs ready for all my projects.
When I make paper flowers, I always gently fold and curl the edges of each petal to give them a more natural look.
For today's project, I used a white card base and a panel of Crafty Necessities: Cloudy Sky Cardstock, splattered with white gouache paint. I also added a sentiment die-cut from Cloudy Sky Cardstock to the background.
Finally, I arranged two crocus flowers and some green leaves together.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you make your own just because card with these pretty crocus flowers!
