How to Hot Foil Over an Embossed Background

Hi there, everyone! Happy release day! Lydia here and I'll be using a few of the new products in this new release. And, I'll also show you how you can hot foil over and embossed panel. I started by hot foiling the large image from Blossoming Bouquet Hot Foil Plate onto a piece of watercolor cardstock using Mirror Gold Hot Foil. I then watercolored the image using Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set.  Once the image was colored and dry I die cut it using the coordinating die. For the background, I dry letterpressed Foliage Fiesta Press Plate. To do this, all you need to do is not ink the press plate, simple as that, and you will get a beautifully dry embossed image, debossed into your cotton cardstock panel.

I then hot foiled a sentiment from Cascading Vines Press Plate into place on to the embossed panel. I truly love how classy this looks and you could just leave this as-is for a simple and elegant look. The die-cut image was then added into place using Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
