Here are 10 card ideas with vellum paper that you need to try today!
1. Use Vellum for Your Sentiments
One creative way to incorporate vellum into your card designs is by using it for your sentiments. Instead of stamping directly onto the cardstock, stamp your sentiment onto vellum paper, heat emboss with white or gold powder, and voila! You can also die cut word sentiments or alphabet dies out of vellum and use the die-cut to frame your sentiment.

Vellum is perfect for creating delicate die-cut elements such as leaves and foliage. If you love clean and simple card designs, vellum can add an elegant touch without overwhelming the simplicity of your design. Use vellum to create subtle overlays, borders, or accents on your clean and simple cards for a touch of sophistication.

Hello, Kalpana! Thank you so much for sharing all these card ideas with vellum! We’re definitely going to try it! We’d love to see your vellum cards too so please tag us when you post them. :)
I am a big fan of vellum paper!! I make cards for my colleagues (~300)every year, and this year I have picked vellum paper to be part of the card . Color it with alcohol or water color markers.
My favorite is to cut it in the shape of a vase and stamp floral bouquet. Add some splash of color with the embellishments or splatter with metallic colors- viola!!card is done!!very satisfying. Also I make zentangle with sharpie on the abstract colored vellum.😊
