Video. Stamping patterned paper and matching embellishments
Hello everyone! Yana is here with you and I'm am beyond excited to be sharing my card and video for Altenew.
During yesterday's blog hop we introduced a new product – matching dies. Today I'd like to show you one more project using the matching dies and stamps combo. The stamp set that I have selected for my project, I'm sure, is loved and owned by very many of you, its the Vintage Roses.
I started working on my card by stamping clusters of roses and leaves on a panel of white cardstock. I stamped about 5, some full, some partial and ended up creating a look of patterned paper.
I also used the same stamps and stamped additional roses, this time I also used matching dies and cut those out to be used as embellishments on my card. To help them stand out from the background I placed a layer of vellum in between the stamped and die cut roses muting the background. This is a simple trick that I have been using for quite some time now.
Instead of using a simple sentiment I opted for a beautiful quote from the Sentiments and Quotes set. The quote itself actually inspired this project.
I'm sharing lots more tips and tricks on my video, I'm also talking about how you can quickly stamp these roses without having to spend much time to align the images for that one and only perfect look. If you do, however, prefer a look of perfectly stamped roses and leaves, please watch Tasnim's Vintage Roses Demo video here.
You can watch my video here or on Altenew Youtube channel.
If you like this video please give it a thumbs up and share with friends! Thanks so much!
Happy stamping!
