Striped Florals Two Ways

It's Jocelyn on the blog today. I recently got the Striped Florals set that was released in February–I love the bold lines and unique floral images.

I thought I would share two different looks for this set. First up, a layered look:

First, I heat embossed the large round flower from Striped Florals on vellum. Next, I stamped and fussy cut the leaves. The sentiment is from Sentiments & Quotes. I layered the stamps on a mix of vellum, patterned paper, and a chipboard frame.

Next, I went more graphic for my second card:

I stamped the flowers from the same Striped Florals set and watercolored them. After I fussy cut the flowers, I curled up the edges slightly to add some dimension. I brushed a little clear Wink of Stella in the centers. The sentiment is from the new Bejeweled set.
