A Colorful Apricot-Themed Card You’ll Love! | June 2025 Release Video Hop

Hey crafty friends! 🎉 Happy Release Day! Lydia here, and I'm so excited to share a juicy, fruit-themed card that's bursting with color and sunshine. It’s sweet, summery, and just plain fun — I think you’re going to love it!

The June 2025 Release is here, and it's a breathtaking journey into a world where vibrant colors, intricate details, and diverse cultural influences intertwine to create truly stunning floral and artistic designs. 🍑 Let's Get Crafty!

I started off by die-cutting all the elements using the Sweet Apricots Layering Die Set on Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Then came the real fun—adding color using our gorgeous Fresh Dye Inks!

Here’s the delicious color combo I used:

• Apricots: Sunray, Golden Honeycomb, Chamomile, Snapdragon, Terracotta, and Apricot Frost

• Flowers:

  • Petals – Orange Sorbet & Coral Bliss

  • Stamens – Chamomile & Snapdragon

  • Centers – Amber Blaze & Melted Butterscotch

• Leaves: Misty Sage, Mossy Meadow & Green Opal

• Branches, stems, and nuts: Coco Cream & Choco Hazelnut

I mean—can you even?! The way these colors work together is absolutely dreamy. I carefully layered and adhered everything using wet glue, and the dimension is just chef’s kiss. 💛

✂️ A Sentiment That Pops

For the sentiment, I used the Today Is A Good Day Die—but gave it a little twist! Instead of using the full phrase (which felt a bit large for this design), I trimmed it down to just the top part. I die-cut the shadow from vellum, and for the sentiment itself, I used Brushed Gold Mirror Cardstock with double-sided adhesive on the back—instant stickers! This little trick made it super easy to stick the letters onto the vellum perfectly.

🌊 Final Touches

To help the elements stand out, I added a soft wash of Pool Ink onto the card base before arranging everything using Instant Dimension Foam Tape. It gives the whole design a beautiful lift and makes those colors pop!
