How to Stretch Your Hot Foil Plate – It’s Like Magic! | Take 2 with Therese (with Video Tutorial!)

Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese.

Today, I'm sharing how to make 2 fabulous cards using the Magic Burst Hot Foil Plate! This hot foil plate features a hand-drawn burst of radiating lines to add sparkle to your next project! You can use it to emphasize a sentiment or image of your choice, or simply allow it to serve as a background element. Either way, you are sure to create a project that pops!

Idea # 1 – Hot Foil Plate Blended Background

The Magic Burst Hot Foil Plate makes either a great centerpiece or a fabulous background for a card.  So for my first design, I chose to use it in the background, but I brought it to life by blending some beautiful colors over top.

Idea # 2 – Hot Foil Plate Focal Point

For my second design, I decided to change things up and I only used a portion of the design. Yes, I actually die cut the image to create a focal point in the background.
