Stretching a Cover Die in Two Creative Ways

Thanks to the ease and efficiency, cover dies are the go-to items for die-hard crafters. Cover dies, however, are not just for the cover! They can be used in SO many creative ways beyond the cover.

How to Stretch Your Cover Die in Two Creative Ways
The Peeking Leaves Cover Die is one that can be overlooked by its versatility.
For this card, I cut up the entire die and split it into two parts. Thanks to the frame die, the design looks cohesive and interesting. I started by inking the die-cut Peeking Leaves.
The Wildflower Garden (Add-on) Stamp & Die Bundle was perfect for the grounded images. I stamped the flowers in Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Warm Sunshine, and Velvet.
Once I had the vision in my mind, I secured the die and Wildflower Garden (Add-on) Stamp and Die with the 2 in 1 Precision Glue.
I then splattered a few droplets of green ink and stamped the sentiment. It is quite a transformation, right?
Wait… that's not all. The next card will make you do a double take!
If you guessed that I die cut two pieces of Peeking Leaves Die, then you are correct!
I simply trimmed off the frame (without the leaf side) and put the two together. You'll get a very different look from the original cover die.
To add the focal point (and also cover up the joint section), I stamped Wispy Joy Stamp & Die Bundle in Vanilla Cream, Butternut, and Snapdragon.
I then added the new One-Go Birthday Greetings as the sentiment. The color combo is based on this month's Inspiration Challenge. Isn't that cool?
One thing I'd like to point out is that the Metallic Cardstock die cut really well with intricate dies (like Peeking Leaves).
Lastly, I embellished the card with Warm and Cozy Enamel Dots.
