One Layer Birthday Card You Can Make in Less Than 5 Minutes!

Why I Love One Layer Cards

I am a huge fan of one-layer cards, they are easy and fun to make, but they are also perfect for mailing especially when weight is more of an issue. I think you don’t need many embellishments to create striking cards, simple designs can really be beautiful too!

For my one layer birthday card I used Flower Bunch Simple Layering Stencil Set (4 in 1).

How to Create One Layer Birthday Card with Flowers

I started by placing the stencil on my card base ensuring it is properly aligned and secured it with a washi tape. I used Rose Quartz and Puffy Heart from Rose Petal Fresh Dye Ink Bundle along with Sunray and Chamomile from Golden Sunset Fresh Dye Ink Bundle to blend them over the flowers. I also used Olive, Moss and Evergreen for green parts of the bunch.

With a few simple steps, I was able to get gorgeous layering floral arrangement with very little effort.

Adding the Sentiments

To finish my card, I combined two sentiments from Birthday Builder Stamp Set and Thinking of You Stamp Set.
