Make the Coziest Winter Landscape with This Layered Creation!

Hey there, crafty friends!

Lydia here — and I’m thrilled to be kicking off our Video Hop celebrating an absolutely magical new release! I’ve whipped up a dreamy card to share with you today, and let me tell you... it's packed with new goodies that I think you’re going to fall in love with.

The July 2025 Release is coming your way, and we think you're going to have an amazing crafting experience creating your own winter wonderland, amongst so many other stunning projects. 

This month's collection is all about embracing the joy and warmth of the season. Get inspired by beautiful landscapes, charming houses, and adorable designs.

Let's get started! To set the scene, I reached for the Stencil Art: Serene Landscapes and built a frosty nighttime view that feels like stepping into a fairytale. The sky? Oh, it’s a symphony of color — Deep Iris, Baby Pink, Orange Sorbet , and Peachy Keen inks blended into a radiant sunset.

For the rolling fields, I used Misty Sage and Mossy Meadow, while the majestic mountains came to life with Icy Water, Polar Bear, and Arctic Mountains inks. To add that perfect celestial sparkle, I dotted in silver stars with the Essential Permanent Marker. 

To really draw the eye to the dreamy background, I added a crisp white panel on top with a circle window cut using the Halftone Circles Nesting Die Set . Before adhering it, I trimmed it down to 4” x 5 ¼” and added some elegant texture using the Elegant Bows 3D Embossing Folder . The subtle raised design adds the perfect soft touch of luxury!

Now for the star of the show — a cozy, layered little home straight out of a storybook. I used the Creative Cuts: Cozy Homes Layering Die Set to build one of the charming designs. Everything was cut from white cardstock and ink-blended for cozy charm:

• Chimney – Coco Cream

• Base layers – Golden Honeycomb

• Larger house front – Mountain Mist + Volcano Lake

• Smaller house front – Volcano Lake + Lagoon

• Roof – Teal Tempest

Once all the bits and pieces were colored, I assembled them with wet glue — and honestly, it was so satisfying seeing it come together!

To add a bit of magic and whimsy, I used the Nesting Triangles Die Set to create glittery trees and mountains using Moonstone Glitter Cardstock . These bring in that extra shimmer every card needs! And to wrap it all up, I stamped a heartfelt greeting from the Sleigh Ride Greetings set and heat embossed it in stunning Antique Gold .
