How To Watercolor With Press Plates | A Touch of Sparkle with Carissa Wiley
Did you know that you can watercolor with your press plates? It's actually pretty easy and I'm going to show you how.
It's Carissa Wiley with you here today. I'll be creating two fall inspired cards featuring the new Geometric Essentials Press Plates and the Zero Waste Autumn Leaves die.
The solid press plates included in the new Geometric Essentials Press Plate sets are perfect for creating a faux watercolor background. Just use your favorite Fresh Dye Inks to cover the plate and spritz with water before using your Bettpress system to press your images. You'll create some beautiful watercolor looks in a snap. No experience necessary.
These plates are also perfect for foil techniques as well.
I'm using some die cut leaves from the Zero Waste Autumn Leaves die and some sentiments I created with the One Go Solid Sentiment Strips press plate and die set to embellish these cards and amp up the fall vibes.
I hope these cards inspire you to try a new watercolor technique with your press plates. Thanks for stopping by today!
