Create Four Stunning Card Panels from One Stamped Image!

Hey, crafty friends! Happy release day! Lydia here, and I’m beyond thrilled to share a super fun and creative way to get FOUR gorgeous card panels from just one stamped image! Trust me, you're going to love this technique.

I’ll be working with Altenew’s newest 8″ x 11″ stamp set, Flourishing Bouquet and let me tell you—it’s a beauty! I started by stamping the large image onto an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock using Obsidian Ink to get that crisp, bold outline. Once stamped, it was time to bring this masterpiece to life using the coordinating Coloring Stencils!

Ink Colors Used:

Pink Rose: Dusty Pink & Blush Rose
Blue Flowers: Water Hyacinth & Alpine Aster
Purple Flowers: Pale Mauve & Amethyst
Golden Flowers: Golden Honeycomb & Amber Blaze
Leaves: Misty Sage, Mossy Meadow, Jade & Eucalyptus

To add even more depth and richness, I reached for my Woodless Coloring Pencils—but you can use any colored pencils you have on hand (even watercolor pencils, just skip the water!). The trick is to choose darker shades than your ink-blended colors and add a few delicate strokes at the base of each petal and leaf for that extra pop of dimension! 😍

Creating the Four Panels:

Once my coloring was complete, I cut the cardstock into four panels (each 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) and gave each one a unique look:

Dramatic & Dark: I colored the background using the Dark Night Artist Marker for a striking, moody effect.

Warm & Cozy: The Pumpkin Pie Artist Marker brought a rich, warm glow to the background—perfect for fall vibes!

Elegant Gold Accents: I outlined the image with the gold marker from the Essential Permanent Marker Set, then fussy cut around the edges to create a thick, luxurious gold border. This piece was then mounted onto a black card panel for extra drama!

Classic & Chic: I left the background clean and simple but added some Jet Black Ink Spray splatters for a touch of artsy flair!

Adding Sentiments:

No card is complete without a fabulous sentiment! I used the One-Go Solid Sentiments Press Plate 2 and foiled multiple sentiments using Altenew Hot Foil Rolls in various dazzling colors. These were then cut with the One-Go Solid Sentiment Strips Die and popped up on foam tape for that perfect bit of dimension!
