When Inspiration Strikes! Encanto-Inspired Card (With Video Tutorial!)
Hi there everyone! Happy Friday! Lydia here. Today, I'm sharing an Encanto-inspired card! I was inspired by Mirabel's dress from the Disney movie, Encanto. Just like many of you out there, I'm inspired by the things around me and when I saw her dress I knew I just had to recreate it in card form!

How to Create This Encanto-Inspired Card
I started by die cutting flowers and leaves from Layered Floral Elements Die Set. These were cut from bright-colored cardstock. I used Deep Iris, Ultraviolet, Caramel Toffee, Warm Sunshine, Just Green, Pinkalicious, and Razzleberry Cardstocks for these. I also cut butterflies from Mix & Match Mariposa and Creative Edges: Lace Die. Then, I adhered the layered die-cuts together and moved these to the side to work on the background.
For the background, I first ink blended a panel of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock using Emerald, Lagoon, and Volcano Lake Inks. Once this was dry, I added some heat-embossed elements. The leaves are from Embroidered Blooms Stamp Set and were heat embossed using Florescent Green Embossing Powder. The swirls are from Peony Scrolls Stamp Set and were heat embossed using Rubellite Embossing Powder.
To put the card together, I added a strip of Navy Cardstock to the bottom of my card base. I then added the die-cut lace border to the inked background and then added this panel to the card base using foam tape. Next, I added the die-cut elements into place on the card base using foam tape. To add a little more color, I added enamel dots from Warm & Cozy, Tropical Forest and Cherry Blossom Sets. To finish off, I added a sentiment from the Simple Greetings Die Set.

I have to say a lot of different products were used when creating this. Although, when inspired, just use what you have – you don't have to have something just like the thing you are inspired by. Have a look through your stash to see what works!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you loved this Encanto-inspired card as much as I loved creating it!
