Create 3 Easy Cards with the Majestic Maple Tree Layering Die Set!

The autumn season is here, and it's that time when crafters pull out their warm color palettes and earthy tones, and create the coziest projects fit for fall. That's exactly what we're going to explore today! 


Hello from Scotland! This is Bibi Cameron, and today I’m sharing super easy card layouts using the new Majestic Layering Tree and the Fine Woodgrain Press Plates/Foil Plates.

Easy Card Layout Ideas

These A2 cards are easy and quick projects. First, we need to die-cut the tree and assemble it. 

I'm giving you three color options. You can choose to create a monochromatic composition or add any colors. The sky's the limit.

Next,  we need to add a neutral texture to the background panel using the Betterpress System, Limestone ink, and the new Essential Textures: Fine Woodgrain Press Plates/Foil Plates.

To put the cards together, all we need to do is to trim down the background panel to fit the tree die-cut size. This will give us room to stamp a sentiment directly onto the card base.

Alternatively, we can cut the textured panel diagonally to create two cards from one panel. This will also give us space to stamp a sentiment below the die-cut tree.


Glue the background panels/ pieces to the card base. Then, foam mount the tree and stick it over, bearing in mind leaving space to stamp the sentiments at last.

Add some bling by using Stellar Sequins.
