Time to Craft with Lydia!

Hello there, everyone! Happy release day! Lydia here. Today I'm going to be sharing a card that has a very vintage feel with a whole array of golden touches. I started by creating the background. Dynamic Duo Dainty Roses Stencils were used to create the gorgeous florals. 

I used Pumpkin Pie and Sicilian Amber Inks for the leaves and stems and Pastel Sunrise, Canyon Clay, and Burnt Red Inks for the roses. Once these were stenciled I added a dark green background using Moss Artist Marker. To add a touch of gold I added branches from the stencil set using Antique Gold and also stamped the detail layers of the stenciled images using the same ink. A little splatter using one of the golds from the Metallic Watercolor Pan Set finished the background to a ‘t'. The sentiment was foiled using Essential Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and Enchanted Gold Foil. I also used gold twine and some gold sequins to guide the eye to the greetings.
