Celebrating Parents Card Drive 2026 | Handmade Cards for a Cause #AltenewCardDrive

Kindness begins with a handmade card, and you can use your creative talents to bring a smile to someone's face! With that being said, welcome to this year's Celebrating Parents Card Drive—a heartfelt initiative to bring joy and comfort to seniors in nursing homes and shelters. As Mother's Day and Father's Day approach, many elderly individuals face this time feeling lonely or forgotten. Let’s change that together!

By donating your handmade cards, you’ll be part of a creative movement that shares love, warmth, and appreciation with those who need it most. A simple card can brighten someone’s day, reminding them that they are cherished, respected, and never alone.

As crafters, we know the joy of creating and the impact of sharing. This card drive is an opportunity to use your skills for a meaningful cause, bringing smiles to the faces of those who may be longing for connection.

Join us in making a difference—one handmade card at a time!

We will be collecting handmade cards between  March 6th to April 17th, and each donor is eligible to win one of FIVE $30 Altenew gift certificates! If you use #AltenewCardDrive when you share your Celebrating Parents cards on social media, you are entered to win one of three additional $15 gift certificates!

The winners will be announced on May 2nd, 2026.

• Cards may be for Mother’s Day and/or Father’s Day. Sentiments should be generic – a specific greeting such as “so happy you’re my dad” wouldn’t really work.
• Please sign your name on the inside of each card. Feel free to include a note and where you are from.
• Note:  Please avoid including any vulgar language, promotional material, or religious messages in your cards.
• Kindly put each card in an envelope and make sure they are not sealed.
• To enter the giveaway, please include a post-it note with your name and email address.
• We would love for you to use Altenew products, but of course, your cards may feature products from other companies!

This year, we're choosing one of our bestselling collections to help support this card drive and aid you in creating your Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards (and other year-round crafting projects)!

We'll donate $1 with every order from the Floral Stamps collection from 03/06/2026 until 04/17/2026 to the Food Bank of Central New York to support seniors in need.

The Celebrating Parents Card Drive is another great way for you to show the amazing love and support that we share in the crafting community!
