Bring Spring to Your Cards with Build-A-Garden: Flowering Quince Set

Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here, and today I'm sharing a card created with the new Build-A-Garden: Flowering Quince Stamp Set. Featuring a bold quince branch, a delicate bloom, and a quince slice, this set offers endless possibilities for creating beautiful floral projects.

For today’s card, I used the Build-A-Garden: Flowering Quince & Add-On Die Bundle. It includes the coordinating Build-A-Garden: Flowering Quince Add-On Die Set, which perfectly complements the Flowering Quince Stamp and Layering Stencil Set.

How to create a CAS Spring-inspired card with the Build-A-Garden: Flowering Quince Set

I started by stamping a bold quince branch with Obsidian Pigment Ink onto my card base to create a simple yet elegant background. I decided to keep it uncolored for a CAS design, but the detailed quince branch and delicate bloom allow for beautiful coloring techniques, whether you prefer to use watercolors, markers, or ink blending.

Next, I added a panel of Crafty Necessities: Cloudy Sky Cardstock along with the element created using the smaller stamps.

I stamped them with Obsidian Pigment Ink onto white cardstock and used the coordinating stencil set to add color. I blended the following fresh dye ink colors: Sunray, Mossy Meadow, Green Opal, Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Mocha, and Espresso. My last step was to add the sentiment, stamped in black ink.
