We are absolutely thrilled to announce the August 2025 Inspiration Challenge, and this month, we have the incredibly talented Oleksandr Azarov as our Challenge Host! Get ready to dive into a world of vibrant creativity inspired by a stunning new color palette.
August 2025 Inspiration Challenge
Each month, a member of the Altenew Design Team (or guest designer) selects a photo that they have taken and then uses that as inspiration for a project. We want to share the fun, of course, and so we invite YOU to use your own creativity to make a project inspired by this month's photo. Let's hear it from Oleksandr!
Hello, Altenewlovers! I am Oleksandr Azarov, and I am very glad to meet you today. For this month's Colorful Inspiration Challenge, I chose a photo I took in my garden. I love seeing how nature combines colors to inspire us and fill the world around us with brightness.
To create my card, you’ll need the following supplies:
Step By Step Instructions
First of all, I stamped the image of flowers using gold embossing powder and then painted the image using watercolors. I blend the colors to create new shades.
I cut out the image and glued it to the base with the help of volumetric tape. I pre-embossed the base using a 3D folder.
I added a pre-prepared sentiment and a small amount of enamel dots as a finishing step.
