Hello!

Today we are collaborating with Add a Little Dazzle. They carry beautiful metal sheets in a variety of colors that are perfect for adding accents to a card.

Here is an example where I added Metal leaves in Precious Pearl color:

I started this card by first stamping the sentiment from the Super Script set. Then I used the solid floral images from the Whimsical flowers set and used an Ombre stamping technique to stamp the flowers around the sentiment. This technique is very easy, here are the steps that I followed:

1. Stamp the solid image in a light colored ink.
2. Ink the stamp in darker ink.
3. Wipe off ink from around the edges.
4. Dab a paper towel/tissue paper around the inked edge to soften the transition.
5. Stamp over the previous impression.

To finish the card, I added die cut leaves from Precious Pearl metal sheets, and glued them using glossy accents.

My next card has a very simple and easy to execute design:

I stamped the tree from our Festive Silhouettes set on a white card base.  Next I used two whole punchers (1/4″ and 1/8″) to punch out the ‘ornaments' from Glimmer Gold metal sheet. The back of all the metal sheets have a silver finish, so for the star, I simply die cut a metal sheet using the back side as the front. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, and is embossed in silver. To finish the card, I scored lines .25″ from the edges.
