Very Art Deco! One of the folders that just as impressive on the front or back. I ordered 2 floral embossing folders but the Oval Links I've actually worked with already. Thanks Altenew!
When I saw this embosser I immediately thought of waves.
This embosser does not disappoint.
Altenew makes great products.
This is a very interesting folder; makes an interesting background & cut into strips for accents.
The 3D embossing folders are so easy to use different way. Love this one to use with many colors.
Another one that I must be honest about as I wasn't crazy for it. Love the pattern which is why I bought it and I may try just using it as an inked background but it failed when running it through a machine. I tried it with several weights of paper from 65 to 80 to 110 and it is such a stronge 3D that it would leave cracks and cuts in the papers. The edges also would not lay flat and the folder warps. As I mentioned, I will try it with just inking it and closing it on paper to see if that works for me.
Hi Linda,
Thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to post your review.
We're really sorry to hear about this. You might want to try misting your card with water before embossing it and lessen the weight of the shim.
It will be great if you can also send us a photo of how it looks like after trying to emboss it?
Please let us know how it goes.
