White and Bright Card Set
Hello there! It's Laurie here today. I am so excited to be showcasing the new Craft-A-Flower set called Morning Glory. The Craft-A-Flower die sets are so fun to work with and really easy to put together. I wanted to create a little card gift set using inspiration from my release project the other day and using this beautiful bloom was the way to go for sure.
To make the process easy, I laid out all the dies and picked out all my cardstock colors. That made the assembly line die cutting process super easy and I was able to get everything cut quickly for all 3 cards. Altenew also has a new liquid glue pen that makes this job even easier!
For this first card, I scored down the white card base every 1/2″ for a subtle detail in the background. I added the flower arranged at the top and then stamped the sentiment along the bottom.
Keeping with the white card base theme, I decided to add scoring in a different way on this next card.
I scored a 1/2″ frame around the card front and then added in the flower and leaves arranged on the bottom.
I stamped the sentiment in Obsidian black ink along the top of the card. Super simple!
To add another color in the mix, I went with pinks and reds for this card.
Scoring 2 lines along the bottom helped me keep the layout a little different from the first 2 cards but they all still work together for my little card pack.
Using another sentiment from Weekend Doodles, I stamped the sentiment along the bottom.
Just to share my inspiration, here is the card from the Build-A-Flower release. You may have seen this on already but I thought I would share it again to show you all 4 cards that I will add in my gift pack.
After grabbing 4 white envelopes and some white ribbon, I bundled all 4 cards to make the perfect little gift!
I hope you have enjoyed today's cards. I am so glad you stopped by. Have a great day!
