Stretch Your Dies with This Easy Faux Dry Embossing Technique

Svitlana is here. Today I want to share a card featuring an easy technique of replicating a dry embossed look (in other words, the textural impression we get when using embossing folders). Don't get me wrong – I love working with embossing folders, especially with 3D ones. But similar textural impressions can be achieved using the technique I'm sharing today.
The technique is quite simple – die cutting a bunch of elements and adhering them onto a cardstock of the same color. For my card, I used the Decorative Swirls Die Set to make the background die-cuts.
As far as the card size goes, I opted a horizontal slimline one.
When I was adhering the die-cuts onto a white panel for my slimline card, I tried to place them as close as possible to each other to create a somewhat continuous design.
After I finished building the panel, I foam mounted it onto a white card base using the Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
For the sentiment, I used the Slim Sentiments Die Set. Since the rest of my card is all white on white for the sentiment, I wanted to add some color. I couldn't decide on which one, so I used them all.
I adhered the Instant Rainbow Washi Tape and adhered it twice onto a white cardstock to fit the sentiment size. Then I made a die-cut out of this piece using said sentiment die.
Then I adhered the rainbow die-cut onto a white strip which in turn was foam mounted onto the card.
Lastly, I added some Satin White Sequins to accentuate the card.
