Non-traditional holiday card

Hello Everyone! It's Aga here and today I would like to share a card I created using a beautiful stamp set: Birch Land.

I love using non-holiday stamps to create non-traditional holiday cards, it’s a great way to stretch the versatility of any stamp set! For today’s card, I wanted to create something that would be perfect to send this Easter season. I used lovely images from Birch Land to create my fresh and springy background with orange birds and green branches.

I inked up the leaves with two shades of green (Frayed Leaf and Evergreen) to give them some colour variation. I used an orange colour for my birds and markers to colour them in. For my sentiment, I picked “Sending Our Love” stamp from Baby Zoo set. It was stamped on a strip of white card stock using Evergreen ink and adhered with foam squares for dimension.
