Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese. I'm sharing two cards made using the beautiful Sweet Bouquet Bundle today!

I love a ‘pre-prepared' bouquet, this makes for some quick and EASY cards especially when you can pair it with coordinating stencils.  

Time for Some Quick & EASY Backgrounds!

But let's take it a little step further and get a completely different look for each background!

Idea # 1 – Bright Colorful Background

I love how color can brighten someone's day!  I started by stamping out the bouquet multiple times on a piece of cardstock, then I used the coordinating layering stencils to add bright colors which made it come together very quickly.  

BONUS IDEA: Why not personalize the design by using the recipient's favorite colors for the bouquet!

I like to leave the cardstock in the Stampwheel while coloring, so that I can restamp the image with Obsidian Pigment Ink, after ink blending, to ‘crisp' the image outline.

Then I added a sentiment from the One-Go Birthday Greetings Bundle along with a butterfly from the Meadow Reflections set.

Idea # 2 – Monochromatic Background

It doesn't have to be colorful, why not try a monochromatic palette.  I love the elegance of gray and the Warm Grays were perfect for this design.  I stamped the background first with Morning Frost and added the ink blending a little differently this time.  I only partially blended the center of the flowers and only one side of the leaves.  But you could add as little or as much color as you want.

This time I removed the Stamp Mat: Grid from the Stampwheel to use a base to blend upon.  This is a great way to ensure that my cardstock did not slip whilst I was adding the ink blending.

BONUS TIP: Why not try a different color for your monochromatic design, how cool would a pink combo look!

This time I added a little glitter for some sparkle as well as a Waterbrush Hello Die cut which I popped up with some Foam Tape.
