How to Make a CAS Card with Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Asters and Embossed Background

Hi everyone, Aga here! Today I'm excited to share a clean and simple (CAS) card inspired by cozy sweater weather and the beautiful blooms of the autumn season.

For today’s project, I combined two beautifully autumnal products: the Craft-A-Flower: Asters Layering Die Set, which creates gorgeous dimensional flowers and the Cozy Sweater 3D Embossing Folder, which adds a warm, knitted texture.

How To Create CAS Card with Craft-A-Flower: Asters and Cozy Sweater 3D Embossing Folder

I started by die-cutting all the star-shaped blooms with delicate petals and leaves from white cardstock. Then, I used shades of purple from the Enchanted Garden Fresh Dye Ink Bundle, along with Buttercream, Olive, and Moss Fresh Dye Inks, to add color and bring the floral elements to life.

Thanks to the keyhole system, all Craft-A-Flower sets are super easy to assemble, giving you perfectly layered designs every time you craft! I glued all the elements together and played around with the arrangement before preparing my background.

The Cozy Sweater 3D Embossing Folder creates a beautifully detailed knit texture, bringing in the cozy charm of fall and winter sweaters. I used white cardstock for the background to keep the look clean and simple, letting the textured pattern add subtle interest without overwhelming the design. To finish the card, I added a simple gold sentiment using the Essential Sentiments set and Hot Foil Roll – Brass (Satin).
