Die cut florals are one of my absolute favorite elements to design with. While they are beautiful on their own, they can sometimes feel a little flat. Today, I’m sharing simple tips to add dimension and texture to your paper crafts to truly make your die cut creations come to life!

I’m Carissa Wiley, and in today's tutorial, I’m featuring a striking handmade card using the Craft-A-Flower: Narcissus Layering Die Set. This specific die cut set is perfect for practicing layering techniques that create realistic depth.

Adding Dimension to Your Die Cut Pieces

A common challenge with a die cut flower is that it can feel lifeless once assembled. To fix this, I recommend two easy steps:

Ink Blending: Use fresh dye inks to add soft gradients to your die cut petals.
Shaping: Use the new Petal Shaper Tool Set to add physical curves and texture.
