Effortless Floral Wreath Card with Ethereal Blooms Stamp Set and Stampwheel

Hi everyone, Aga here! Today I’m excited to share an effortless floral wreath card made with Altenew’s Ethereal Blooms Stamp Set and the Stampwheel 2.0 tool. Thanks to these amazing products, I was able to create a perfectly balanced floral wreath with no complicated measuring or guesswork involved. The whole process was not only quick and simple, but it was truly enjoyable!

How To Create Floral Wreath Card with Ethereal Blooms Stamp Set and Stampwheel

I started by stamping the first layer of floral images using lighter ink tones for a soft, airy look. I chose two of the flower stamps from the Ethereal Blooms Stamp Set and positioned them on the Stampwheel’s clear flip plate. Then, by simply rotating the plate 90 degrees between each impression, I was able to stamp the flowers four times each in perfect symmetry.

For the colors, I used Buttercream, Pink Diamond, and Forest Glades Fresh Dye Inks. To add more depth and variation, I inked the stamps with two colors at once.

Once I had the base shape of the wreath, I moved on to stamping the next layers of the flowers with the Stampwheel. For this step, I switched to darker tones to add depth and contrast. I used Pinkalicious and Rubellite, along with Olive and Moss Fresh Dye Inks. To finish off the florals, I added Warm Sunshine to the centers of the green flowers and Olive to the pink flowers.

To complete the look of the wreath, I stamped leaves and used the tiny flower center stamp from the set, and stamped a few of them here and there around the wreath with the Stampwheel. It’s a small detail, but it really helped to fill in the gaps and added an extra layer of visual interest to the overall design.

As a final step, I added a sentiment using the Sweet Sentiments Hot Foil Plate Set and Hot Foil Roll - Brass (Satin) mounted with a foam tape for a lovely pop of dimension.
