Create a Holiday Card Set Easily with ONE Press Plate/Foil Plate!

Hello, everyone! It’s Aga here and today, I would like to share with you a holiday card set using Regal Wreath Registration Press Plate/Foil Plate and Altenew Crafty Necessities Cardstocks.

Initially, I had a plan to make only one holiday card but I couldn’t decide about a color combination I want to use and after playing with different cardstock colors it turned out to be a nice set of cards.

How to Create a Holiday Card Set with Regal Wreath Registration Press Plate/Foil Plate

The Regal Wreath Registration Press Plate/Foil Plate is Altenew's first-ever registration press plate. You can effortlessly combine hot foiling and letterpress techniques to create stunning, mix-and-match designs that will elevate your winter holiday crafting projects.

For my holiday card set, I used only the main wreath plate. I started off with five different cardstock: white, Misty Morning, Cloudy Sky, Minty Mint and Forest Fern Cardstock and a hot foiling technique. I used a hot foil machine and combined the plate with Hot Foil Roll – Brushed Gold (Mirror).

You can notice how beautiful the gold foil looks on different backgrounds and how it changes depending on the light and angle you are looking at it!

You might already know that I love non-traditional colors for Christmas cards and for that reason I decided to complete my wreath designs using markers from Altenew's Acrylic Marker 24 Color Set – Vol. 1. The opaque and dazzling colors of the acrylic markers look great on both, light and dark cardstocks. The markers I used to draw some flowers, leaves and berries are pictured below for reference.

My last step was to attach each panel to the card base and to add my sentiments.

And that’s how I unexpectedly started my holiday card production this year! Have you started creating holiday cards? Hope my holiday card set inspired you! Let me know what you think in the comment section.
