CAS Hello Card Using Mini Delight: Apothecary Garden Stamp & Die Set

Hi everyone, Aga here! Today I’m sharing a delicate CAS card featuring the Apothecary Garden Stamp & Die Set. 

This design showcases two elegant apothecary bottles, a dried leaf filler, and versatile everyday sentiments, perfect for coloring and personalizing. The coordinating die set expands the creative possibilities with a graceful leafy branch, two layered flowers, and a charming tied-string accent that fits beautifully over the stamped bottles. Together, these elements make it easy to create stylish, one-of-a-kind projects. 

I started by stamping the apothecary bottles with Obsidian Pigment Ink for a crisp outline. Then, I colored them using three different blue shades from Water Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set G, specifically shades COO7, COO5, and B526.

During the coloring process, keep in mind that soft blending works to create depth and interest. The result is a beautiful, glass-like effect!

Next, I die-cut the flowers and leafy branches from white cardstock. I colored the flowers with soft purple shades from the Water Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set G and added fresh greenery using green shades from the Tropical Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set E, blending the colors for added depth and dimension.

Altenew's Artist Alcohol Markers are wonderful for a variety of projects. They're great for everyday art projects, but you can also use them to color in your die cuts if you don't feel like ink blending. 

For the background, I kept it simple by trimming a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than the card base. To add subtle interest while keeping the clean look, I drew a delicate frame around the edges with a black pen.

Don't underestimate the power of lines and dots. Sometimes, they can add the interest or finishing touch you've been missing in a project. 

To finish the CAS card, I assembled all the elements and added the stamped sentiments 'Hello' and 'sending hugs' from the same Mini Delight Stamp and Die Set.

The Apothecary Garden elements work beautifully for everyday CAS cards and can easily be adapted for a variety of occasions. I hope you enjoyed this simple, clean design and feel inspired to create your own version.
