Autumn Inspired Card Using One-Go: Solid Sentiment Strips 3 Press Plates and Autumn Whispers Bundle

Hi everyone, Aga here! Today I’m excited to share a clean and simple handmade card that captures colourful, autumn feeling we all love this time of year. For this project, I used the One-Go: Solid Sentiment Strips 3 Press Plates/Foil Plates (Gratitude Edition), along with the beautiful Autumn Whispers Bundle, both from Altenew’s September 2025 Release.

I’ve always been inspired by the beauty of autumn, especially the colorful foliage and golden accents that make everything feel warm and magical. For this card, I wanted to keep the design clean and simple while still bringing in those seasonal touches.

How To Create Autumn Inspired Card Using One-Go: Solid Sentiment Strips 3 Press Plates and Autumn Whispers Bundle

I started by stamping some of the images from the Autumn Whispers Stamp Set, using warm-toned inks to reflect the beauty of changing leaves. I chose Sunkissed, Orange Cream, Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, and Mossy Meadow Fresh Dye Inks, inking each stamp with a mix of shades to create a soft, blended look. This technique adds depth and variation to the leaves, mimicking the natural transitions of autumn foliage.

I added some black ink splatters to the card base to give it a bit of texture and interest without overpowering the delicate leaves. While waiting for the splatters to dry, I die cut the images using the coordinating Autumn Whispers die set and arranged the leaves to create a beautiful wreath.

To finish the card, I added two sentiments from the One-Go: Solid Sentiment Strips 3 Press Plates/Foil Plates (Gratitude Edition), paired with the Hot Foil Roll – Brass (Satin). I love how you can mix and match sentiments from this set, which really stretches the creative possibilities and lets you customize your cards perfectly. The warm golden foil complements the autumn tones and adds an elegant shine to the design.
