It’s that bittersweet time of year again, the moment where we take a look back on all of the achievements and amazing memories experienced, but also get a chance to look forward to what comes next. That’s what you can expect from the Altenew 2025 Year in Review!
In today’s blog, we’re going to go through every single month of the year and put the spotlight on some favorite crafty supplies and milestones we achieved as a community. At the end, don’t forget to share your favorite memories and product releases with us in the comment section!
January - New Year, New Altenew Subscription!
The first month of the year marked the arrival of a brand-new Altenew subscription: Creative Cuts! This new, incredibly fun series of layering die sets changed the game for a lot of crafters (us included), and every month since then, new die sets have been released every month, with fun designs like vintage-style doors, enchanting forest elements, adorable luggage pieces, and more!
February - Shiny and Shimmery Mixed Media!
A new product category took the Altenew shelves by storm, and crafters loved it! Creating mixed media projects and playing around with stencils has never been more fun with shimmer relief paste. With so many colors to choose from, you can make beautifully shimmery and long-lasting shimmer paste creations for your projects!
March - Rediscovering Wax Seal Stamping
The old art of wax seal stamping may be considered a bit ‘old-fashioned’ or even outdated by some, but it can actually be a wonderful addition to any paper crafting project. From sealing envelopes to adding dimension to your cards and memory-keeping layouts, it’s no wonder crafters enjoy this fun and therapeutic activity.
April - 11 Years of Altenew!
It was so much fun to celebrate 11 years of Altenew being in the crafting industry. Of course, new products were released, there were lots of amazing crafty deals, and we also had a special class led by the incredible women in our leadership team. Without a doubt, customers like you made that month incredibly special!
May - Fun, Innovative Supplies Galore!
May was all about making the most of your crafty supplies and basking in the presence of other crafters in the community. The 2025 Secret Garden Virtual Retreat was a blast, and attendees had the best time playing with exclusive products, learning new techniques, and most importantly, having the best time with people who share the same passion.
June - Glimmery Sequins!
What’s a crafting project without a bit of sparkle? It was so nice to see lots of customers love the new Altenew Stellar Sequins and work with them in their crafting projects. Accompanied by other new supplies like the Crafter’s Showcase Mini Blending Brush Storage and new storage pouches, June was all about combining glam and usability!
July - Get Ready for the Festive Season!
It’s never too early for holiday crafting, at least that’s what Altenew customers proved when they showed us beautiful projects with the July release! From stunning sleds to snow-lined houses and landscapes, the projects were absolutely worthy of a holiday-themed celebration!
August - Bring Out Your Inner Artist!
Calling all artists and paper crafters alike! We went back to the basics a little bit in August, with brand new supplies like the Fine Liner Pens and Flex Calligraphy Pens to help you stock your craft room with the essentials, and also have a chance to learn new techniques! Whether you’re into doodling, journaling, or outlining, these pens are just the thing!
September - Cozy Crafting Has Arrived at Altenew!
We could tell that lots of crafters love autumn, and when fall season rolls around, it calls for cozy crafting with your favorite beverage on the side! Of course, that comes with cozy, autumn-themed supplies too! You guys loved some of the new September release products, like the Sweet Harvest Project Kit and Cozy Sweater 3D Embossing Folder, the perfect supplies to accompany your cozy crafting experience.
October - Tell Your Crafting Story!
A big part of the crafting experience is to tell your story, or to send a message through the colors and elements of your project. In October, lots of customers did just that with new supplies like Watercolor Tubes, the Mini Sentiments 3D Embossing Folder, and more! We also got a chance to get crafty with coloring and learn new, innovative ways to further your storytelling skills.
November - Showcase Your Love for Altenew Fresh Dye Inks!
There’s no denying that Altenew’s fresh dye inks are beloved for their high-quality, ergonomic design, and vast range of color families. In November, three new color families were added to the collection, and they were the most beautiful, calm shades of purple, green, and brown that customers did not hesitate to use beautifully!
December - Create Colorful, Realistic Crafty Creations!
Don’t think we’re ending the year with a bang, thanks to some new innovative supplies, a long-awaited partnership coming to fruition, and so much more! We hope you love the brand new Watercolor Compacts in collaboration with the Mint Gardener, 13 NEW cardstock colors, and an amazing Petal Shaper Tool Set to help you create the most realistic die-cut florals.
2025 at Altenew Was Full of Crafty Inspiration Thanks to You!
We can’t even begin to list everything that we have achieved in today’s blog, and all of it was made possible by YOU, our amazing crafty friends who believed in every single release and used the supplies alongside their remarkable talent.
