Adding Sparkle to Layered Flowers
Craft A Flower African Daisy

I adore layered die-cut flowers; they look beautiful, are quick and easy to construct, and pack so much impact. Here, I show you how that comes together to create a stunning card.

Using Altenew's Glitter Gradient Cardstock for one of the layers in my flowers takes them to the next level. Here, I used the Pink Brilliance Glitter Gradient Cardstock for the base layers of my flowers. This gives just the right amount of sparkle without being too overpowering.

The rest of the layers were cut from Rose PetalSummer Afternoon, and Green Meadows Gradient Cardstock. To adhere the layers of the flower, I used my 2-in-1 Precision Glue Pen for the small centers and Glue Tape for the main layers.

Craft-A-Flower African DaisyThe card's background was put together by embossing a 4-inch by 5.25-inch panel using the Checkered Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder. This was added to an A2 notecard. I then cut the large frame from the Mega Stamp Frames Die Set and added this using foam squares. This allowed me to slot the flowers into place.

Next, I cut a sentiment from the Seasonal Blooms Project Kit. I love how the sentiments included in the kit have the fine detailed word and then a base layer to mat them onto. I cut the word out of the Pink Brilliance Glitter Gradient Cardstock and added it to a white base layer.

Hope you enjoyed my card idea. What do you think of the new Craft-A-Flower set? Comment below!
