Project Inspiration
Today, I'll be sharing how to add beautiful shading, quickly and easily onto solid image stamps.
I started by stamping the ever-so-cute sentiment from Floral Thanks Stamp Set onto a piece of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. For the sentiment outline, I used Obsidian Pigment Ink; for the flowers, I used Butternut, Pink Pearl, and Dew Drops Crisp Dye Inks, and for the foliage, I used Firefly Crisp Dye Ink. Once the stamping was complete, I then added pencil shading using Woodless Watercolor Pencils. For the pink flowers, I used Coral Bliss and Heart Beat Pencils; for the blue flowers, I used Dew Drops and Volcano Lake Pencils; for the yellow flowers, I used Honey Drizzle and Orange Cream Pencils, and for the foliage, I used Grass Field and Shadow Creek Pencils.
Once the shading was complete, I cut the image using the coordinating dies. I added an extra sentiment from Greatest Blessings Stamp Set on the die-cut image. To add a little more interest, I also added a few Satin White Sequins.
The background was created using white cardstock embossed with Geo Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.
