Create a Fresh Spring Card with Craft-A-Flower: Cherry Blossom Branch

Hello, everyone! Aga here, and today I’m sharing a CAS Fresh Spring Card using the new Craft-A-Flower: Cherry Blossom Branch.

Welcome to Creativity Unlocked, where we highlight a new product from each month's collection or a fan favorite from past collections!

This die set is another beautiful addition to Altenew’s monthly Craft-A-Flower releases, each celebrating the beauty of a wide variety of flowers! Each set includes all the pieces you need to create a multi-layered floral arrangement, inspired by the popular 3D flower dies. All you need is cardstock and a die-cut machine to bring these designs to life!

For today’s card, I wanted to create something fresh, airy, and spring-like, so I kept it simple with minimal color and lots of white cardstock.

How to Create a Fresh Spring Card with Craft-A-Flower: Cherry Blossom Branch

I started by die-cutting all the elements from white cardstock. In addition to the pieces included in the set, I added a few simple flowers to make my branch bloom with even more blossoms. Next, I used Moss and Parrot from the Tropical Forest Fresh Dye Ink to add color to the elements.

For the smaller parts, the smallest brush from the Micro Blending Brush Set was the perfect tool. To finish off my flowers, I added some details using markers from the Tropical Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set E.

Next, I lifted some petals and leaves to bring this beautiful branch to life and arranged all the elements on a white card base.

My final step was to add a simple sentiment. I used the Sweet Sentiments Bundle, paired with the Hot Foil Roll – Ivory Black (Mirror).

Isn’t the Craft-A-Flower: Cherry Blossom Branch the perfect way to welcome the season of spring? I absolutely love how the delicate, layered blossoms come to life with just a few simple steps. I hope this project inspires you to experiment with different spring colors. I can’t wait to see what you create with it!

Thank you for stopping by today!
