2 FABULOUS Ideas to Use Hot Foil on Cards! | Take 2 With Therese + Video!

Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 With Therese. Today's post shares two ideas to use hot foil on handmade cards! These beautiful cards feature the Gilded Rose Bundle.

2 ideas to use Hot Foil on cards

Idea #1: Hot Foil on Acetate

The trick here is to use a heat-resistant acetate.

I blended the bloom in the background with the coordinating Gilded Rose layering stencils.

Then, I stamped a sentiment with the Bergenia Builder Stamp Set.

Idea #2: Hot Foil a Die-Cut

The technique here is another fun one.

This time, I added the hot foil directly to the Waterbrush Hello die-cut.

Next, I added a sub-sentiment from the Apothecary Labels Stamp Set.

BONUS Idea: No Waste!

And finally, I just had to use the ‘left-over' hot foil.  This ‘solid' version of the hot foil plate looks amazing!

This time, I added a simple sentiment from the Hello and Hugs Bundle.

To see how I created these hot foil cards, you can watch my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.
