Upcycled DIY Project with Golden Feather Stamp and Die Bundle
Hello and welcome to the Altenew Scrapbook blog! It's me, Sandra, and I want to share a new crafty idea with you - an upcycled DIY project. I created a notebook cover from an old wardrobe door. I used the Golden Feather Stamp and Die Bundle to decorate the cover.
Some time ago, the door of our old wardrobe broke. Firstly, we got rid of the door frame. However, being a passionate DIY crafter, I made sure to keep the plastic door panel and cut the plastic panel into several small pieces. Today, I want to share a DIY project that I made from one of the panel pieces. I created a fancy notebook cover featuring the Golden Feather Stamp and Die Bundle, the Watercolor Strokes Washi Tape and some wooden stars from the Our Family Scrapbook Collection. Let's have a look at the project!
How to:
First, I attached the washi tape onto the right hand side of the plastic panel. Second, I added three rubber bands as decoration. Then I stamped and die-cut some feathers from the Golden Feather Stamp and Die Bundle. Next, I attached the feathers onto the panel piece.
Then, I stamped the sentiment 'hello' onto white cardstock with Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink and glued the sentiment onto the cover. Next, I punched two holes on the left side and added two silver ring binders. As a final touch, I glued two wooden stars onto the cover with liquid glue.
