Dot Pattern Art Journal Page using Simple Flowers Stamp Set
Hello, Altenew fans! It's Zinia here and today I'm back with another colorful art journal page using some of my favorite Altenew products.
The inspiration for this page came from the stamp set I wanted to use, Simple Flowers. I absolutely adore the whimsical designs of the floral images it features and since all of them have a circular shape, they were perfect to create a pattern.
The first step was to stamp a bunch of images using various pink and red colors of Altenew Crisp Dye Inks. I fussy cut them using a pair of scissors to make sure the outline looks more organic but if you want to save time you can just die cut them with the coordinating die.
To build my page, I grabbed a sheet of watercolor paper and I started painting some watercolor circles using Altenew Ink Sprays. In between those circles, I adhered the floral images I stamped earlier. Since the stamped circles had some details on them, I decided to add some more details on top of the watercolor circles as well. Using a white paint marker, I added different patterns on some of the circles.
As you see, I used this idea to create a full pattern on my art journal page but you can also use this design on a card or a scrapbook layout.
