I cannot tell you enough about these VIBRANT beautiful pencils. A joy to hold and work with , dry OR wet .
I still plan to do the "free class" when time permits me to sit steal long enough, but playing around with it so far, I find them totally awesome.. So much so that though these woodless watercolor pencils literally just arrived, .I've already given away the regular water color wooden pencils that all I got for my efforts was frustration beyond belief!
This pencils make it so easy to get the colors exactly where you want them, making color fading and layering so easy! They also can be used with less water than traditional watercolors, in my experience, making them more versatile with papers.
I have just started really working with watercolors. I have the Moody Brights and Moody Muse compacts and love using them. I saw Jaycee using these pencils and even though they are expensive I went ahead and ordered them. Thy are great to work with and I like they can be used dry as well as wet. The colors are vibrant. I agree with other reviews that the cylinder is tight when putting the pencils back.
I would love to see additional sets available perhaps that match Altenew die colors.
Love the variety of colors and how smooth they are.
