I bought this bundle for less than the price of the paints themselves. The paints are yummy, rich and buttery, highly pigmented artist grade watercolors. I’ve been eyeing them for ages and was thrilled to find them so nicely priced. Definitely worth the wait! A nice touch is that they are labeled to correspond to the matching ink pad colors.
The brushes are super convenient and I appreciate the size range.
The palette set is fine; you could use any waterproof white opaque plastic or acrylic. The edges are rough from having been cut.
This kit fits great in a small bag with my pen & journal. It has made adding color to my journal a breeze. Love the selection of watercolors, plastic palettes and water pens.
My only complaint about the watercolor paint set would be in regards to the metal sliver deposited in my finger from the edge of the pan (on one of the rounded corners.) After extracting the sliver (ouch) and mopping up the blood, I tried the watercolors and liked them very much.
