These retreats are so special, I love the planning in the lead up, the amazing kits that accompany these - the quality, amazing product mix and a little surprise is always highly anticipated , the wonderful community that comes together, incredible instructors and the win of spending a 1.5hrs with each crafter in the closest thing to meeting in person and the fun of what is always for me an overnight craft marathon (AU 1am-1pm this one). The hardest thing is the waiting but it’s always sweeter when the weekend arrives.
Just love the Altenew retreats. Only suggestion would be to have product in retreat kits show up in crafty stash. I’ve bought duplicates several times because it wasn’t in my stash list
This was a great class. I love making the coi fish and I love the water color paper.
The kit had so many useful items. I enjoyed the retreat especially because the teachers showed creative ways to use the stencils and dual tipped pens. The Lilypad Dreams embossing folder and layering stencils worked beautifully to create a card. It was my first time using layering stencils and even though I didn't line them up exactly perfectly, I still had a good result, and I know that with practice I will get better.
Very nicely put together. This is my first one, so I don't have any comparison.
