About this class

Create Eye-Popping Stenciled Backgrounds

Stencils that steal the show. Lydia Evans shows you how to build vibrant, high-impact stenciled backgrounds, so any card gets an instant lift.

What you'll learn

Blend high-contrast ink colors through detailed stencils for vibrant background panels.
Avoid muddy color transitions when ink blending bright shades side-by-side.
Use partial stenciling to create focused focal areas and soft background drop-offs.
Layer stencil patterns with metallic sprays or pastes to add rich visual texture.
Keep stencils flat against card panels to eliminate ink bleeding under edges.
Transform simple card bases into striking background art using basic stencil sets.
