I think Altenew has the best cardstock colors of any company. Who knew that there could be 4 shades of brown that look so different but go so well together? I usually am not a fan of brown as often times browns can look muddy or just plain ugly. Brown is not usually a color that I reach for. However, these browns are actually quite nice and very useable. I envision using them to make layered flowers on guy cards

I've often admired floral cards that use out-of-the-box color combos. Using shades of brown for leaves is an example. These color gradient pads make color choices easy. Just like with other colors, not all browns work well together. It's more than just choosing "light, medium and dark" shades. Browns can be somewhat orange or red or even a little on the green side. Having a pad like this is time saving, cost effective and color selection is a no brainer.

Love the colors. Having the coordinating colors in one pad makes it so much easier to choose just the right color I need.
